Làm thế nào để tra VDict trên các trang web có logo VDict enabled?

Có 3 cách tra:

• Giữ phím Ctrl và Right click len trên từ cần tra (shortcut của Just Click 'n' See, LacViet từ điển). Cách này dành cho những người đã quen với các bộ từ điển trên. Tuy nhiên nó có nhược điểm là chỉ có thể tra 1 từ đơn (word) một lúc. Nếu bạn muốn tra từ có khoảng trắng hoặc các kí tự khác ở giữa bạn nên dùng cách 2
• Bạn có thể dùng chuột để select từ và bấm Ctrl-Shift-A để tra
• Double-click lên từ cần tra

Sử dụng wildcard như thế nào?

Khi tra từ, bạn có thể dùng _ để thay thế cho một kí tự bất kì, hoặc ^ để thay thế cho một số lượng tuý ý các kí tự tuỳ ý. VDict sẽ liệt kê 10 từ đầu tiên đúng với tìm kiếm của bạn, bạn có thể tiếp tục click vào từ để tra ý nghĩa của từng từ
Ví dụ về sử dụng wildcard: h_t trong từ điển Anh-Việt có thể ứng với hat, het, hit, hot, hut. Hoặc ^ello sẽ trả về bordello, cello, hello, niello, prunello, punchinello và violoncello

Làm thế nào để gõ được tiếng Việt?

VDict sử dụng script Viettyping (ở giao diện cũ là VietUni) cho phép bạn gõ tiếng Việt ngay trên trang web mà không cần chương trình nào khác, chỉ cần browser của bạn hỗ trợ Javascript và có font Unicode (IE 5.0, Netscape 6 hay Mozilla). Bạn có thể nhập tiếng Việt theo kiểu Telex hoặc VNI.

How can I use VDict on websites with logo VDict enabled?

Dictionaries can be looked up using 2 methods:

1. Hold Ctrl and Right click on the word you want to lookup (familiar shortcut of Just Click 'n' See, LacViet dictionary...). However this method allows you to lookup single word only. If you want to look for combined words with spaces or other characters in between please use method 2
2. You can use your mouse to select the word and press Ctrl-Shift-A
3. Double-click on any word

How wildcards are used

Wildcard _ is used to replace an arbitrary character, wildcard ^ is used to replace any number of characters. When using wildcards, VDict will list the first 20 words that match your pattern, you can click on the words for result.
For example: h_t in English-Vietnamese dictionary will return hat, het, hit, hot, hut. Or ^ello will return bordello, cello, hello, niello, prunello, punchinello and violoncello

How can I type Vietnamese characters?

VDict is using script Viettyping (or VietUni in the old Interface), which lets you type Vietnamese without additional software, as long as your browser supports Javascript and Unicode (IE 5.0, Netscape 6 or Mozilla). You can enter Vietnamese characters and diacritics in Telex or VNI style:
