Ốm no bò dậy

Chỉ cảnh ốm đau, cô quạnh, không có ai chăm nom hay nương tựa nên cuối cùng vẫn phải tự gượng dậy mà lo liệu cho mình. Cũng dùng để nói đến tình thế buộc con người phải tự xoay xở khi không thể trông cậy vào ai.

It refers to being ill and alone, with no one to care for or rely on, so one must eventually struggle up and look after oneself. It is also used for situations where a person is forced to fend for themselves because they cannot depend on anyone else.
