Chỉ người lấy cớ uống rượu để chú tâm vào việc ăn uống, nhất là thích các món nhắm hơn bản thân rượu. Cũng dùng để châm biếm người không giỏi hay không ham uống nhưng lại rất hăng hái khi có đồ ăn kèm.

This refers to someone who uses drinking as a pretext to enjoy the food, especially the dishes served with alcohol. It is also used humorously or critically for someone who is not much of a drinker but is very eager when there is food to go with it.
