Chiêm khô bầu, mùa sầu rơm

Câu này nêu kinh nghiệm làm ruộng: lúa chiêm chỉ cần hạt vừa khô vỏ ngoài là nên gặt, còn lúa mùa thì để đến khi rơm, cuống lúa vàng rũ mới thu hoạch. Dùng để chỉ dẫn thời điểm gặt hái thích hợp cho từng vụ, với cách nói nhấn vào dấu hiệu “khô bầu” và “sầu rơm”.
